Bargarh: As many as four bodies have been recovered from a house, which sent a shock wave in Jamdol village under Bheden police station in Bargarh district on Sunday.
The reason of the death has not yet been ascertained. But, the incident is suspected to be of two days ago.
Police said that they received a call at 6 pm on Sunday regarding the matter. Locals suspected fishy after decomposed body smell was emanating out of the house.
Police, later, broke open the door of the house in presence of the magistrate only to find four bodies lying on the ground.
The deceased identified as Sesadeb Meher (55), Khireswari Meher (48), Arvind Meher (28) and Sivani Meher (20) belong to one family, police said.
Police have pressed in the scientific team and dog squad to expedite the investigation.
