Ganjam: A youth allegedly killed his father following an argument in Asika locality of Odisha’s Ganjam district. The deceased has been identified as Debraj Nahaka.
According to reports, a verbal spat ensued between Debraj and his son Aruna Nahaka over some issues. Later it escalated into a heated argument and eventually took a violent turn after Aruna, in a fit of rage, stabbed Debraj with a knife.
Subsequently, Devraj sustained grievous injuries. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where the attending doctors declared him dead.
On getting the information, police arrived at the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway into the matter, said the police.
