64th Annual Durga Puja Celebration at Rupra Road: A Grand Nine-Day Festival Begins with Enthusiastic Devotees

Narla (Lingaraj Mishra): The 64th annual Durga Puja at Rupra Road is in full swing, with the worship of Goddess Dashabhuja commencing on Sunday at the Durga Mandap. This event, located in Kalahandi’s Narla Block, has witnessed a surge in enthusiasm. President Radheshyam Khetan and the members of the Rupra Road Durga Puja Committee are dedicated to Maa’s worship. This year, Bijaya Agrawal serves as the Karta, while Surendra Prasad Sharma and two associate worshipers lead the main worship. The puja will span 9 days in a beautifully decorated mandap illuminated with lights. A group of committee members, including Ashok Kamani, Pushpak Mohanty, Bharti Mohanty, Dhirendra Khetan, Anil Agrawal, Dinaraj Agrawal, Ratan Agrawal, Deepak Mohanty, Anil Kumar Agrawal, Rupe Agrawal, Amit Sharma, Neeraj Sharma, and others, are actively contributing to the event.
