Kalahandi, Yadu News Nation (Nilesh Kumar Nag): Sunday Kalash Yatra was held for Biswanathpur Durga Puja in Lanjigarh Block. A grand Kalash Sobha Yatra was held from the Shiva Temple Nala to the Puja Mandap under the leadership of Jagdish Benia, the President of the Public Durga Puja Committee. Hundreds of women filled water in Kalash and placed it on the Mandap. Every year, this year too, Biswanathpur Sharadiya Durga Puja will be celebrated for five days. All the preparations for this have been completed and the Puja has begun. Like every year, this year too, the Puja Karta is performing his duties by Pradeep Kumar Ghadai and his Wife Lakshmi is performing his duties. Pujak Kailash Das, Kalia Das, Runu Padhi, Niroj Das are conducting the main Puja work. The Kalash Yatra was attended by Ghanta Badya, Hariharpur Sankirtan, Maa Hiranila Band Party, Sitapur Ghumura. The committee’s vice-president Harihar Kumar, Secretary Anant Pradhani, Secretary Kishore Harpal, treasurer Subash Naik, co-treasurer Jitu Sahu, advisor Tarun Kumar Das, Dhabaleeshwar Thela, Balaram Behera, Achyut Ghadei, Ghanashyam Suna and all the members of the committee and the youth group are collaborating in the management of the program. The committee has received information that there will be entertainment programs for the audience in the night.
