Telkoi: The body of a newborn baby was found floating at the Samakoi river in the Telkoi area of Keonjhar district on Saturday morning.
According to reports, the matter came to the fore after some locals spotted the baby’s body and informed the police about the same.
On being informed, police reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem.
However, the circumstances under which the newborn drowned are yet to be known.
