Bhubaneswar: India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday predicted light to moderate rain in parts of Odisha as the cyclonic circulation is likely to emerge into northeast and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours.
At present, the cyclonic circulation over West-central Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh coast persists and extends up to 5.1 km above mean sea level tilting southwestward with height.
Under its influence, several parts of Odisha especially coastal areas are likely to experience light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm in next 24 hours.
