New Delhi: The Bombay High Court on Tuesday granted bail to actor Armaan Kohli in connection with alleged possession of 1.2 grams of cocaine.
The court has asked Armaan to pay a surety of Rs 1 lakh through a bail bond.
The Jaani Dushman actor had applied for bail in April this year but was rejected, following which he moved to the High Court. The actor had sought for bail on the grounds that only a small quantity of drugs was allegedly recovered from his possession, and claimed that he was therefore entitled to bail.
Notably, on August 28, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) seized cocaine at his residence.
The actor was taken into custody after a drug peddler was arrested, and later NCB also arrested another drug peddler from whom commercial quantity was recovered.
