Pragati Patha Mahotsav on 23rd: Pragati Samman to Santosh Kar, Bipin Bihari Bishi, Sujit Meher, and P.B.B.M.Y.O

Kalahandi, YNN (Rajat Bansal): In a heartfelt tribute to the founder of Pragati Institutions, the Patha Mahotsav 2024 will be held on 23rd October at the Pragati Institutions campus in Bhawanipatna. This event marks the second death anniversary of the esteemed founder and aims to celebrate his legacy through various honours and activities.

During a preparatory meeting chaired by Er. Ajay Kumar Panda, head of Pragati Institutions, was decided to bestow several prestigious awards. National Award-winning teacher Santosh Kumar Kar will receive the Banmali Panda Shiksha Samman for his outstanding contributions to education. Eminent poet and retired teacher Bipin Bihari Bishi will be honoured with the Banmali Panda Sahitya Samman for his literary achievements. International fashion designer Sujit Meher will be awarded the Banmali Panda Yuva Pratibha Samman for his remarkable talent in fashion design. Additionally, the Bhubaneswar Behera Memorial Youth Organisation (P.B.B.M.Y.O.) from Mundraguda will be recognised with the Banmali Panda Seva Samman for their dedicated service to the community.

The meeting saw the participation of notable figures including Chinmay Guru, Chairman of Concept School; Seshadev Mund, Chairman of Higher Secondary School; Lokanath Khadikar, Principal of Collegiate School; Dr. Devashish Sen, Vice Principal of Degree College; Arsia Saela, Principal of Junior Wings; Administrative Officer Pranab Kumar Panda; Laxmikant Behera; Ramesh Meher; Ashok Kumar Sahu; Jayadratha Suna; and Manas Ranjan Panda, among others.

The Patha Mahotsav will feature a variety of competitions for students of Pragati Institutions, including Yoga, Taekwondo, Painting, Rangoli, Dance, Singing, Poetry Recitation, Badminton, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Chess, Carrom, Fancy Dress, Science Exhibition, and Vocational Education. A special poetry recitation programme will also be held, showcasing the talents of renowned poets from the Kalahandi district.
This event promises to be a vibrant celebration of education, culture, and community service, reflecting the enduring spirit and vision of the founder of Pragati Institutions.
